Hair root infection. Treatment for this.

Hi All 2 years ago, I got hair root infection on my left arm with a red small bump and a very tiny hole and I got treatment from a dermatologist and bump and pain went off but tiny invisible whole remained but that was not causing issue, now I again it surfaced with reddish bump with some fuss and I am taking treatment from same Dermatologist but this time it is causing more pain and bit widened as of now it is not yet cured. I read that this is contiguous if it is in direct contact with skin, my small kid got rahes on skin, thinking he got infection from me. Heard that Homeopathy is good for this issue and also I would like get this diagnosed quickly as it might infect kids. Kindly suggest the best and quick treatment for this. Thanks
