I had corn in the center of my foot which i got removed with surgery 2.5 months back. Now, the open wound has been filled with skin but the skin is slightly raised and hard and solid. Is another corn forming? What should i do?

Welcome and Good Morning Your issues are 1. There is history of corn removal 2.5 months before. There is no mention of HISTOPATHOLOGICAL examination of the excised tissue at surgery so diagnosis of corn is not confirmed. 2. The wound has been filled with the skin but the skin is slightly raised, hard and solid. Healing in corn surgery takes place by SECONDARY INTENTION. Here the fibres tissue  laid down is enormous. REMODELLING process will take care of excessive and raised tissue in due course of time in the wound. 3. Is another corn forming? What should I do? If the corn is EXCISED COMPLETELY then RECURRENCE is very very rare.
