Hba1c Values
Iam non diabetic, Recently iam checked my hba1c level it shows as 5.6, post prandial blood sugar is 100, eAG 110. The lab reference value between 4.5 - 6 is normal. Some web sites shows below 6 is normal, some sites below 5.7 is normal.which is correct.How often check sugars that is once 3,or 6 months. Pls suggest.

Hba1c upto 5.7 is Normal.
5.8% to 6.5% prediabetic.
It measures average sugar for past 3 months
Need to check it every quarterly
Next Steps
normal... then check annually
if prediabetic need to follow diet and exercise.
Recheck after 3 months. Hba1c
after 1 month check FBS, PP
