Hello. The HCV RNA test are both quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative test- usually done for patients who were HCV RNA positive , before the start of treatment or to see the effect of treatement. ie the test is requested to measure viral load( the amount of virus in the blood ) in the blood. Qualitative - the test HCV RNA PCR is done to see if person is infected with HCV or not. ie the test result will be detected or not detected.
Next Steps
from the test result you have been given it means there is HCV in the blood but Very  low viral load. HCV RNA PCR test can detect up to 10 IU / ml of HCV in  blood . make sure from your dr that you are HCV negative before you go for IVF.
