HDL decreased after diet control
When my son's weight was 85kg, light activity and bad diet, his HDL was 46, LDL 140 and Triglycerides 202. Now his weight is 76kg, walks 10k steps everyday and very low fat/carb diet (mostly oats, vegetables, lentils, egg whites and fish). His HDL reduced to 30, while his LDL is 143 and Triglycerides is 103. Can someone please explain the decrease in HDL? My son's height is 178cm (5'10").
