I have seen a small piece of extra skin on the opeing of vagina...and having pain on the right side of lower abdomen ..is this something serious??

Pain is not related to extra piece of skin. Pain can be due to other causes so investigate the pain and go for ultrasound of lower abdomen first. Mean while start tab zenflox of once a day for 5days with milk. And send me the report off ultrasound.
