My brother is diagnosed with kidney disease and his creatine has gone abobe 5.5 his is been hospitalized and is under treatment i just want to know what causes this and what can happen next

Dear Sir, the cause has to be found out. There is no single cause of high creatinine. What can happen next depends mainly on the cause. My simple advice is to take the situation very seriously and have regular follow up with a nephrologist.
