High fasting insulin level
Hi my fasting insulin fasting is 46 .. It's high I wanna know why fasting insulin can high... I don't understand because insulin post meal effect of what we eat... Then why fasting insulin high? Advise

Hi, It's enough if you understand that your body continuously produces insulin and the amount changes with diet and other activities. Fasting insulin is high - indicates that your body is not able to manage with normal amount of insulin and is overworking for the same load .
It is an indicator of increasing risk of metabolic issues.
