Hi
My mom has 104 fever since Saturday night, today is Tuesday. Till monday, her fever would go down to 101 with meftal forte or dolo .. today it was 98 for 6 hours and now again 103 fever.
Her dengue, malaria, covid and typhi tests are negative. But her platelets fell from 180 to 150 from yesterday to today.
Other symptoms are severe headache, loss of appetite, nausea and chills when fever is high.. no other symptoms. Throat and stomach are fine.
We showed to a doc here and he doesn't have answers. Please advise.. what could this be.

If none of these are positive, we need to find the focus of infection and hence it needs further evaluation
