Avoid green pepper,black pepper,paneer and food which is cooked one day before... Take khichdi and light food to eat.. avoid junk food,fried food... avoid if u have any addiction drink luke warm water...avoid overeating... Drink water only when u have thirst aviod overdrinking of water... take saltfree diet... Take lemon water with 1 tsp of honey in it... Take green tea... 40 min of brisk walking is necessary.. Complete sleep of 7 to 8 hrs...sleep early at night... pranayama for 7to 10 mins in a whole day...

Hyperlipidemia SX – claudication, angina, MI, stroke, pancreatitis, chylomicronemia (Trig > 2000), atherosclerosis. PE – xanthomas.

DX – • Fasting Lipid Profile: Chol > 200 | LDL > 100 | Trigs > 150. • Also: CBC, CMP, U/A, TSH/FT4, LFTs, CPK.
Health Tips
TX – diet, exercise, no alcohol, no smoking. • Pravastatin 40mg QD. • Ezetimibe 10mg QD. • Ezetimibe/Atorvastatin 10/20 QPM. • Niacin 250mg QD. More specific for Hypertriglyceridemia: • Gemfibrozil 600mg BID. Fenofibrate 48mg or 145mg QD. Tx if patient has elevated LFTs: Ezetimibe 10mg QD. Cholestyramine start 4g QD. Dose 4-8g PO BID. Give before meals.

Fat metabolism altered.   Diet is rich in fermented, baked, frozen etc heavy digestive food. Devoid of good lipids too... .
