High uric acid - 6.5mg
It's been a while my mom, she has some kind of pain in the ankle, knees. She couldn't walk properly. Could you please recommend me some DO'S and DON'T so I can take proper care of her and so could control her diet that will reduce her uric acid level.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your mother in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plgus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. U had given a v vague history, I presume her to be degenerative arthritis. U had not mentioned the level of her uric acid. Please get connected with me on Practo chat for further detailed discussions.

general conditioning excercises like walking,cycling and yoga. Quadriceps excercises ( learn from u tube) avoid squatting and sitting crosslegged ( paalti) Avoid Indian toilets use English one. Could you let us know what's the current serum uric acid levels? I'm assuming your mom would be in her late fourties or early fifties Please correct me if I'm wrong

start with keeping her fit and active sun exposure on daily basis specially in the middle of the day where UV B that generates vit D is higher Quads strengthening VMO exercises will help a great deal

Get her Vit D checked Avoid red meat and organ meat in case there is a consumption, that would keep a check on her uric acid
