How to prevent thyroid for a12 yr child
My sister who is 12yrs now is hvng 6.2 tsh what are the remedies she should take and how thyroid can be cured? she is about 65 kgs now by this does it affect to lead to thyroid if so how much weight she sdould lose and she needs smtg r the other to eat in lilttle tym aftr consuming the food what are the foods she should take to make her TSH level down

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Let me tell you something about hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism means that her thyroid isn't able to produce enough amounts of thyroid hormone. So she should take the thyroid hormone in form of tablets. There is no such foods or anything which could cause increase production of thyroid hormone because the thyroid gland isn't functioning properly. She should lose weight, how much she should lose is to be decided by taking her height into consideration. But for starters, 15kgs would definitely be needed to be reduced.
