How to taper and stop meds
I'm suffering from depression from 4 years. After taking Nexito, flutee, lithium, amisulpridie, desvenlafaxine, clonazapem, methylphenidate. I'm not recovering completely. I don't feel much difference, I have learnt to manage it. Therapy is useless. I'm finally on Nexito 20mg. Earlier I didn't have side effects but now I have to take pantocid everyday to reduce gastric symptoms. I'm unable to enjoy any food. I don't have sex drive. I want to stop it but even at 15mg after 10 days my condition becomes very bad that it becomes hard to do anything. I want to either be on some medicine which will not have side effects or stop it completely. Is it possible that with time these symptoms will disappear or one has to take meds for lifetime once they have started.

You have tried all possible treatment for depression but if you are not getting relief by these medications, psychiatrist should look for another possible diagnosis which has strong possibility in your case like Bipolar depression or atypical depression which requires little different treatment then normal depression. I hope you discuss with your treating psychiatrist and should get better response with such treatment. All the best
