HR-CT after tuberculosis
Hi, my mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis last year. after 9 month of medication, finally she turned negatuve for tuberculosis. she also had suspected ILD pre tuberculosis for which no medication was being given because she was already treated for tuberculosis. after she turned negative for tuberculosis, her chest HR-CT was done which i am enclosing. please guide on her health, and how should we proceed further.

Hi. I understand your concern s. She will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest

Hello HRCT report showing 2 issues 1. Post tubercular pulmonary fibro bronchiectasis in left upper lobe of lung For which no further treatment recommended But has to monitor for further complications May require inhaler therapy after PFT Need vaccination and other precautionary measures 2. ILD need further evaluation May require DLCO, bronchoscopy etc.. after thorough clinical examination Meet Pulmonologist for the same.
