Sonography report -
well defined hyperchoic lesion in the subcutaneous region of left lower back with no significant internal vascularity - likely lipoma
Underlaying/adjecent muscle appear normal.
No evidence of collection
My question :
This swelling is painful when touch !
Can this lesion can be cancerous??
I have this swelling from last one year. No weight loss , no any health issue !
What further investigation we can do ?

The lesion that you have mentioned after undergoing sonography requires surgical intervention in following scenario:
1) if it’s painful
2) Hampering daily routine activity
3) for cosmetic reasons
Swelling appears to be benign and risk of it being converted to liposarcoma is very rare .
