Hello When u were diabetic ur serum  glucose levels were high..ur brain was accustomed to that levels of glucose that is above 120 as Normal levels.. Now when u controlled ur sugars to normal ur brain thinks that it is low level and stimulating reflexes of hypoglycemia and I were feeling uncomfortable.
Next Steps
Don't try to normalise sugars rapidly..Try to keep ur sugars at higher level(120) now and then very slowly decrease them. Let the brain gets accustomed to low levels slowly
Health Tips
Whenever u feel uncomfortable take 2 spoons of sugar or glucose
