I have an irritation in my urethra
I haven't been running a fever or anything have a burning when urinating had a weird discharge today is this a UTI?

It could be. UTI is a short form of Urinary Tract Infection, which means there may be an infection from tip of penis to the kidneys. Burning while passing urine is a cardinal sign of infection, and it needs to be treated ASAP. Infections can cause damage to the urethra, and even the kidneys, if it is long standing. Hence meet a physician or dermatologist
At times urine also contains sediments which are like a sludge and they cause burning too.
Fever may be there in some, but burning, increased frequency of urine and discharge from urethra, feeling chills are also other signs of UTI.

Meet a physician. He will ask you to go for Urine routine examination and if needed culture may be asked for,. Antibiotics are prescribed if infection is seen and if not you may be referred to a urologist for the other causes like sludge, stones etc
