I'm getting boils all over my body
I have been getting boils all over my body especially on my stomach, thighs and hips. They are small in size but very painful. I had consulted a skin specialist last month who told me it was a bacterial infection and gave me medicine for it for 8 days. After the dosage was over I started getting these boils again. Please tell me what is the cause of it and how to prevent these boils. Most antibiotics don't suit me so I need a solution that won't have any side effects on my health.

Kindly say in detail about which antibiotics don't suit you so that proper guidance can be provided. Boils are result of infections, fast metabolism, and many other diseases. Kindly act accordingly.

Don't worry, it is easily treatable. To re-confirm the diagnosis previously made, an image of it would be essential. And since you said that most antibiotics don't work on you, hence your medication history along with side effects profile and allergies will have to be noted before prescribing any medication.

I would like to explain that recurring boils can be due to a few underlying causes, such as recurrent bacterial infections, immune system issues, or even underlying conditions like diabetes. Since you've already been prescribed antibiotics, and they did not prevent the recurrence, it may be necessary to explore alternative treatments and identify the exact strain of bacteria responsible through a culture test. In terms of managing this issue, maintaining good hygiene, using antiseptic washes, and possibly adjusting your diet can help reduce the occurrence of boils. For a more targeted approach, I would recommend consulting with a dermatologist who can provide personalized care based on a thorough evaluation. Additionally, some patients benefit from long-term strategies such as decolonization treatments (e.g., nasal mupirocin and chlorhexidine washes) to prevent recurrent boils if caused by persistent bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus. If you would like a detailed evaluation or further treatment advice, feel free to consult with me. Alternatively, you can WhatsApp me at eight-zero-zero-nine-eight-two-one-three-three-two for further guidance.
