I've had my period for 13 DAYS
I'm a 41 year old female. I had a tubal ligation right after my last child 19 years ago. My period was late by 15 days. I took a pregnancy test even thought I've had a tubal ligation just incase. It was negative. 3 days later I get my period and it hasn't gone away. I've had my period for 15 days now. What is going on?

Consult gynecologist and get local examination done and get medicines to stop bleeding. CBC and Thyroid function test. Once in a while because of hormonal disturbance or stress or ovarian cyst in previous cycle you may get delayed periods and irregular bleeding. Do ultrasound pelvis after stoppage of bleeding.
