Ibugescic plus for 1 year old?
My daughter is 13 months old has 101.8 fever. Dr asked me to give her ibugesic but the pharmacist gave me ibugesic plus and I already gave her 2 doses one at 1 am and next one at 9 am. Is it safe? Shall I use this if fever is more than 101? I give babygesic if fever is less than 101..

Actually plain ibugesic syrup is no longer available... So for high fever you would need to consider ibugesic plus... Other wise babygesic is fine.

Ibugesic contains ibuprofen which is not the 1st line drug for fever. Ibugesic plus contains Paracetamol along with ibuprofen, it is irrational combination so it should be avoided.  You can give Paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hr if child develops fever, but not before 6 hrs
