Ichthyosis Vulgaris
I have had IV from my early childhood. I have tried umpteen products but none of them have been able to control the flakiness beyond 3-4 hours. Someone with similar issue recommended Eucerin. I believe this product is not available in India. Are there any good moisturizer/cream that I can use?

Try not to use soap every day. Try to take bath with lukewarm water. Apply soap maximum twice in a week. If you want you can send me your pictures for better diagnosis and treatment. Brand names can't be written in open forum. Which soap are you using. You have to use ceramides based moisturiser.
