Incline of TSH
Hello. I am a 25 year old female. I had my second child over a year ago and I noticed I was gaining more weight while feeling tired with high anxiety but what concerns me is that it has been over a year now and I drink over a gallon of water a day with a very healthy diet along with exercising 3-4 week with absolutely no weight loss only weight gain. My energy has diminished and it is now effecting my work. I have brittle hair that is slowly falling out along with body hair growth (such as chin, cheeks and breast) I also noticed my voice is much deeper with a slight rasp. (I am not a smoker) and it feels as if my throat is constantly swollen. I received blood work and he tested for TSH only along with testosterone. based off of my previous results of TSH there seems to be an increase? Is there a reason to be concerned with my results? 8/14/12 4/15/15 7/14/16 3/14/17 1.740 1.438 2.063 2.856 SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN 49 nmol/L TESTOSTERONE 18 ng/dL TESTOSTERONE FREE 2.4 pg/mL
