My Sister is 39 years old and she is mentally and physically challenged although she is well trained and can speak well. She takes a Dilantin Tablet every night.
Recently she has faced a problem of inflammation of tongue where in she is unable to eat anything which is spicy. She can eat rice and dal but cannot intake even mild spicy food.

She has tea and toast in breakfast and simple dal rice for lunch and dinner. She brushes in the morning and has regular water intake throughout the day.

Please consult your dentist.dentist properly examination of the tounge and give medicine.i think it is glossitis .in this condition the tounge is inflammation with depapillattion of the dorsal surface of the tounge.and leaving a smooth and reddened surface.glossitis is often caused by nutritional deficiency and may be painless or causes discomfort
