Hi doctors, My aunty is admitted in hospital and taking treatment for Interstitial lung diseases last stage and has breathing issue and she is on oxygen. Is it possible to cure this disease or will it become worse. I need a second opinion. Please confirm it. Thank you

There is no permanent cure. It may remain stable or may become worse depending on the type of ILD. For some types of ILD, worsening can be prevented with specific medication. Regular checkups with symptomatic treatment must be given. Kindly consult.
