Invisalign aligners
I am currently undergoing Invisalign treatment for very mild tooth issues. I have received 14 sets of aligners, which I need to change every 10 days, and the treatment will last no more than 5 months.
I would like to know what the post-treatment care involves. Do I need to get retainers from the same brand, or are they included in the treatment? Additionally, how long should I wear the retainer?
By the 11th set, I noticed that 90% of my problem was resolved, which is impressive progress.

It's compulsory to wear retainers for certain duration depending upon type and severity of the case. It enhances the outcome as well as prevents relapse.

Hi post treatment .. usually suggest using the last set for a bit longer .. post that a fixed retainer to be placed to ensure there is no relapse.. additionally sometimes a removable retainer exactly the same as your aligner set is given for 2-3 months duration.. this ensures treatment is successful in the long run. Not doing anything can lead to relapse . Check with your treating doctor

Yes u have to wear the retainers for at least 6 months after the treatment. Retainers are given by respective company of the aligners or by the dentist

Of course You need to wear Retainer. The term Retainer explains it helps to ratain those changes made from treatment.You have to wear full time for 6 months. Usually, they are parts of Aligners. Yeah After treatment you need to wear retainers full time for atleast 3 to 6months.
This will stabilizes your teeth in their new position .
If you feel you are making great progress by 11th set ,you're on track ! Just make sure to complete all aligners as instructed to get optimal results.
Are retainers included in your treatment?
That is completely depends on your provider
Some Invisalign packages include retainers ,while some other require you to purchase them separately . So please check with your orthodontist or dentist to confirm .

Yes you have to continue to wear the retainers even after treatment. This may be for atleast 4-6 months depending on your case clinically.

After completion of treatment, it is necessary to wear retainers. Usually the retainer is a part of the aligner set. Check with your dentist regarding the same.

Yes, you have to wear retainers for a minimum of six months after the treatment and they will be given by your respective dentist.
