I am 30 weeks pregnant.My hemoglobin is 8.5.. Rbc is 3.30. ... Hematocrit 26.8. McV 81.4. MCH 25.6. RDW. 20.2. My doc has suggested me to do iron Infusion... Is it ok? Does it have any side effects on me or my baby? I have IBS and migraine.

Hemoglobin 8.5 is low for your gestational age. Having oral medication wont help to increase it immediately. At least two doses of iron transfusions would be helpful for your pregnancy., helpful for the baby to grow as well.
It should be done in an hospital under doctor’s supervision in caseof any sideeffects
