I have been on birth control for 4 years and my period has always been regular. This month I missed 2 pills in a row. I doubled up the day I realized I had missed them, which was a week after my last period. I got heavy bleeding right after that and I continued to take me pill hoping the bleeding would go away. It has been 4 days and I still have heavy bleeding while continuing to take me active pills. Is it normal to get a period a week after you just had one if you missed 2 pills?

As you missed period two days in a row and consumed double the dose but the harmon cycle has already changed by them so withdrawal bleeding has occurred
But you must also check for pregnancy test and see a gynaecologist for regulating the period now
