Irritation in throat causing cough
Have irritation in throat followed by cough. problem persists since last year. get cured and reoccur again. local doc says it seems allergy. also taking levocetragine 5 mg + montelukast 10 mg along with momentasone nasal spray from last 5 days, but no relief. irritation in throat+ dry cough troubles a lot. also done tests. crp test is negative. immunoglobulin serum IgE level is high value 250. please help for treatment.

Chronic throat irritation and cough can be due to allergic airway disorder or reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to use anti reflux medications along with steroid bronchodialator inhalers
