My neighbor's kid is 7 yrs old and has chicken pox frm yestrday, she plays with my 3 yr old daughter whole day, can my daughtr get infected, wt can i do to avoid infection.

Hi.. chicken pox is definitely contagious.If the child who has the infection has active lesions, then she is a definite source of infection for everyone.
The only way you can prevent your child contacting the infection is by avoiding any contact and also by giving the varicella vaccine as soon as possible if not taken already.
