Hello doctor my dad is 52 years old and he took the first dose of covishield vaccine last Saturday (11th April)on 16 th April he experienced slight fever(99.5)and slight cough.Today is day 3 and fever has come down close to 99 without crocin and cough has also reduced.Should I be concerned about covid?His spo2 saturation is 98-99.Will first dose of vaccine prevent serious covid complications?

Vaccine can’t prevent infection but can stop in proceeding to death( as mentioned).
