During normal delivery such injury can occur especially in small, thin but women. It should recover completely by 2 years from delivery, if uncomplicated. If pain persists and you have completed your family, you can opt for surgical fixation which gives excellent recovery.

There seems to be significant separation at the pubic symphysis-looks more like a Grade 2 APC type of injury- it is better to get clinically evaluated for pelvic stability.
It might require surgical fixation with a plate and screws if gross instability is present.
