Is propranolol okay during pregnancy?
I have been taking propranolol 20mg for anxiety/panic attacks for 10 yrs but I don't take regularly and only take when my anxiety is very high, for example before boarding an airplane. I am around 7 weeks pregnant and want to know if I can continue taking propranolol when I need it/only when panic level is high. I have been having stress about pregnancy and sometimes I feel adrenaline shoot in my body so I want to take propranolol to calm down but don't want to compromise my baby health. Please advise. If it's not safe, are there other anxiety meds I can take? (I've taken antidepressants in the past and they don't work on me at all.) Also what kind of doctor is best to consult? Thank you kindly
