Once the period start may b on day 2 or three I feel better . My periods are regular usually 28 days length . Rarely I do experience bloating on ovalution like on 13 or 14 day . This is rare . Please get a sonography of Lower abdomen done. Please also start measuring the girth of your abdomen from 3 days before the period to 3 days after the period . You will see for yourself how much bloating of the abdomen is happening. Please measure your girth of the abdomen at a fixed point. Otherwise you will get a different reading every day even without periods.
