Is this jaundice please reply
I have visited gastro doctor for freuent motion and loose stool for one year he have done usg which shows normal study lft i have attached. endoscopy and colonoscopy done .colonscopy shows proctitis biopsy tells chronic non specific Proctitis.for that used mesacol suppository for few days .no other medicine prescribed .he didnt tell anything about jaundice ,but seeing liver function test doctors say jaundice in practo.i have no symptoms like yellow urine.is this jaundice or temporary readings mistake like not fasting before giving blood and certain medications like that for blood test and lft. one doctor said to visit heametologist .whom i should consult and whether it will resolve on own.without sympyoms whether jaundice can be there.thank you please reply kindly.

Hi, it looks like you have indirect  hyperbilirubinemia jaundice this means only indirect  bilirubin is raised. This condition  is very common. You need evaluation  for this. Most of times it is harmless.

There is a possibility of jaundice which is not related to liver disease, there are other causes of jaundice as well, which seems more likely in your case About proctitis, would like to know more about the biopsy report Consider online consultation for the same.
