Jaundice, Increased sgpt and sgot
Hi, My husband is having jaundice, Bilirubin is 3.84 but sgpt and sgot is more than 1000. We did hepatist B test and its negative, Also USG is normal. He is having pale colored stools and dark yellow urination.

It's mostly due to acute viral hepatitis If there's no history of alcohol intake

He needs a clinical evaluation for cause of hepatitis and onset of severe complications like mental status changes and bleeding tendency.

Viral HEPETITIS is the most common cause.  Various types of HEPETITIS are possible. Other causes include obstructive jaundice.  Share full report if LFT, and DISCUSS in details about his history to come to a proper diagnosis and plan Appropriate Treatment.
