Jaundice itchiness
I had jaundice from viral hepatitis since one month but now I'm normal even in recent report billirubin level came to 1.09 and Sgpt and Sgot 32 and 39 respectively All normal report came but still I have itchiness in my body.when itchiness will go?? I'm taking bath daily. Suggest some way to get rid of itchiness what should I do and when it will go away? For itchiness I'm taking medicine Dzireday-180 (Fexofenadine Hydrochloride tablets IP) which was prescribed by my doctor and it's also about to over still itchiness is there. Suggest some remedy? Should I continue eating tablets or not or change to others medicine.plz help Also when I can eat non veg food and fast food?

Hello . Please take lots of water and apply oils to skin. Itching due to Jaundice will go off soon. You are recovering from Jaundice . Have protein and Carbohydrates diet no fats

Hello dear good morning. I have gone through your complaints posted in this platform. Nothing to worry be cool and relax first. Yes itching common in only few patients with jaundice. The other causes to be ruled out beforecoming into conclusion.

Hi if there is itchiness, please do Alkalime phosphatase. If high you need further evaluation. Usually obstructive jaundice causes this symptom. Sometimes bile just stagnates after a viral hepatitis, in which case UDCA will help
