I would advise you to continue with the topical antifungal cream over the scar until it goes completely. These steps will help you with prevention from further jock itch infection: - Avoid using oily skin products - Reduce your exposure to the sun. Exposure to sun may trigger or worsen an episode and a tan makes the rash more visible. - Do not wear tight clothing. - Change undergarments regularly - Wear breathable fabrics such as cotton to decrease the sweating. - Keep areas where there is sweat accumulation dry regularly and apply powder in those areas to reduce the moisture. If the problem is persistent I would advise you to meet a dermatologist.
Next Steps
Follow the steps as advised

Hello there...... For these scars you can use cocoa butter or vitamin E creams..... Stay dry. Keep your groin area dry. Dry your genital area and inner thighs thoroughly with a clean towel after showering or exercising. Use powder around your groin area to prevent excess moisture. Wear clean clothes. Change your underwear at least once a day or more often if you sweat a lot. Wash workout clothes after each use. Be cool. Don't wear thick clothing for long periods of time in warm, humid weather.....
