Kind of yeat infection
Dark Red itchy skin under breast , underarm, under ear lobe near vagina since 2 years. No doctor had suggested to do a skin tissue test to diagnose. No doctor told what bacteria or fungi or yeast infection it is. She has pain in that areas too specially when she sweats. Itching occurs and sometimes exceed beyond comfort. I am expecting a complete and accurate diagnosis of this infection because most doctors we had seen only inspect it visually by just seeing and still there is no improvement despite following all instructions given by them. They just change medicine every week. Please help us to get rid of this stupid infection and lead a happy life. The infected Area is increasing week by week.

Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to misdiagnosis and wrong treatment with OTC medications. To add to the problem, many combination tubes are easily available in market and there is no regulation on the sale. They make the fungal infection a permanent problem though it may provide temporary relief. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are co-prescribed many a times to treat this complicated fungal infection. If needed a simple skin test can also be done to confirm the diagnosis. Till then use only over-the-counter anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
