Knee joint abscess
My grandfather is suffering from knee joint abscess. The orthopedic surgeon here tells that we have to remove the puss with every sitting and that will keep on going. The only way abscess can be removed is through surgery. The doctors are not willing to do surgery saying saying at such an old age general anesthesia cannot be given. When we asked local anesthesia doctors are not saying anything. My question here is can the abscess be removed with local anesthesia?
