Most probable cause at this age is osteoarthritis... It's a degenerative bone disease...There’s no cure for osteoarthritis as yet, but there are a number of treatments that can help ease symptoms and reduce the chances arthritis becoming worse...options are analgesics, NSAIDs,intraosseous steroid injection and hyaluronic acid injections,Physiotherapy like strengthening exercises etc ... Treatment depends upon the stage...I would suggest you to consult nearest orthopedic surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  This could be a case of osteoarthritis knee. Osteoarthritis  (OA) treatment aims at pain management mainly by giving pain killers but these cannot be hiven for a prolonged duration. You could consult a orthopedician in person for further evaluation and management.  If OA is the case, then knee replacement surgery can be done. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Hello there..... Treatment is aimed at pain control with over-the-counter pain relievers. Anti-inflammatory medications, either over the counter, or by your doctor's prescription, are also quite helpful. Knee bracing can be beneficial for more mobile patients. Injections of hyaluronic acid can be helpful in relieving chronic pain.. Consult your orthopedician for further treatment....
