The common cause for knee pain is the patellofemoral joint pain but usually the focus remains on tibio femoral joint. Conventional approach would be to attribute to age, weight, deficiencies and physiotherapy. But patellofemoral pain is secondary to lifestyle and muscle weakness. The pain has to be addressed by a taping technique followed by lifestyle modifications and improving muscle health.
