I was diagnosed with L5 S1 disc herniation in July. Initially I had pain in left leg and lower left back. Now my symptoms have improved with some exercises. Should I do FLEXION or EXTENSION exercise. Which is more beneficial ?

First avoid smart thinking about ur exercise. 1. First u have to follow ur physiotherapist properly who is nearby & follow his rehabilitation programs 2. Don't do exercises by ur own by asking us & with YouTube. 3. Without proper diagnosis & assessment of ur condition it will end up in danger. 4. Both flexion& extension is useful depends on ur condition. 5. DR.ANDREW JAYA SINGH senior sports editor at the university carlton born , head to heel physiotherapy clinic porur Chennai
