Laparoscopy for Gall Stones
Does laparoscopy of gallstones always means removing off the gallbladder? Also is it very painful post operation???

Welcome Good afternoon See your question is not clear. 1. Laparoscopy is a minimal invasive surgery done under general or local Anaesthesia. 2. It is done for diagnostic, therapeutic etc purpose. 3. A single port is the required. 4. Single incision is required. 5. Laparoscope is fitted with camera. 6. Gallbladder is not removed in LAPAROSCOPY. 7. For gall stones  Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is done. Thanks Regards

No. Post operative period is very manageable. And yes, removal of the entire gall bladder is mandatory

1.laproscopy for gall stone disease requires removal of gall bladder.. 2.stones are not removed individually leaving gall bladder. 3.next day and same day you can may be discharged most of the times 4.pain is minimal and is gold standard for gall stone disease

it would be good if you give proper history since how many days pain is present,comorbities like diabetes etc,usg abdomen report??

GB is always removed with stones Usually it's not painful
