Treatment shouldn't in my opinion be directed by a scan, but rather than your complaints or what problems you are facing. If conception is the problem you can go ahead with a laparoscopy. If severe pain during menses alternative treatments can help surgery not always necessary
It is not sure wt type of cyst it is endometriotic or haemorrhagic
For the sake of cyst there is no need of laparoscopy
Lap cystectomy or fulguration decreases the follicles later
Instead u can go for usg guided cyst aspiration
But for this size even usg guided cyst aspiration is not needed
But fr the sake of hydrosalpinx , for tubal clipping lap is needed
