You are young. Your menstrual cycles are still in the process of establishing a regular rhythm. Please don't bother. It will settle down with the passage of time.

Hi. It's perfectly normal for a menstrual cycle to last 21-35 days. It need not be exactly 30 days. Since you are facing a change in duration than your usual cycles, it is important to rule out any causes with a proper evaluation preferably by a Gynecologist. If not accessible, you can consult a General Physician as well.

There are several reasons why your periods might be late. Here are some common factors: Stress: High levels of stress can affect your hormonal balance, leading to delayed or missed periods1. Diet and Exercise: Extreme dieting or intense exercise can disrupt your menstrual cycle1. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): This hormonal disorder can cause irregular periods12. Weight Changes: Sudden weight loss or gain can impact your cycle3. Pregnancy: If there’s a possibility of pregnancy, this could be a reason for a missed period1. Hormonal Imbalances: Conditions like thyroid disorders can also affect your menstrual cycle3. If this pattern continues, it might be a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying conditions. How have you been feeling otherwise? Any other symptoms or changes you’ve noticed?
