A white patch with complete loss of pigment appeared on the corner of my lower lip when I was 5-6 years old.
It grew to a size of one inch by one centimetre, downwards, towards my chin, but well above it. No noticeable increase in size observed since I was 12 years of age. I got it surgically removed when I was 18 years old. Yet, the hair appearing along the stitches of that part of my face appear white.
I recently noticed a slightly lighter patch of skin than my usual skin tone on my left leg. Also, two similar circular patches seem to have appeared on my right lef. The photos of the same have been Attached with this message.
The hair on these patches of skin are black.
I'm concerned about the reappearance of vitiligo, if it is vitiligo at all.
Can it be vitiligo?
Is it vitiligo?
Kindly suggest the next best step, as far as, medical treatment is concerned.
Thank-you.
