Lingual Braces
Do lingual braces have side effects like slurring while talking, tongue wounds etc.? Can they be preferred over the regular braces, if one can afford of course?

There will be slight discomfort initially after u start off with lingual braces...as in mouth ulcers, speech difficulty, excess salivation etc.. But all these issues will settle down in a week or two... In regard to your second query.. There are certain cases that are best treated with regular braces and some which in which lingua will do a better job... Visit an orthodontist to know which treatment option will better handle ur problem...

Dont worry lingual braces dont hurt. It will take little time for you to get adapted to it but once its done you will be fyn..
