Long Periods
I am having menstrual cycle since last 3 weeks and the bleeding has not stopped as of now. Its not painful, but the flow seems to be going on. I am a bit Stout. Please advice what necessary steps should be taken.

Thank you for your question. Bleeding for so long can cause you to feel uncomfortable and become anaemic too. It can cause rashes and soreness because of sanitary wear and skin excoriation. It would be wise for you to see a gynaecologist and get examined and tested to determine the cause. There are hormonal and non hormonal causes for excessive bleeding which need to be ruled out. Your doctor can give you medication to stop the bleeding in the meantime while you wait for your results. Best wishes
