Long term use of betadine
I kept getting reccurent boils for almost 2 years. Then my doctor adviced me to use betadine after bathing everyday and they went away. But is this safe for long term use? I read betadine can cause cell death

No need to use betadine daily that's not the final solution  .need to find out the reason for recurrence consult online

Betadine is an Effective Antiseptic and is very commonly used. The common side effects of this medicine are some itching sensation and rahses which usually disappear on discontinuing the medicine. By saying long term you mean how many days , months etc.

It's used as antiseptic lotion in case of infected wounds. Bt it reduce new cell growth, bt when you have any infected wound there is no chance of new cell growth. So betadine used for infected wound dressing.
