Sharing photos of your baby's stool with your pediatrician can provide valuable information. This can help them determine if the stools are indicative of an infection or other gastrointestinal issue.
Since teething is a common cause for these symptoms and can coincide with increased drooling and harder gums, itâs likely contributing to the changes in bowel movements. However, ongoing monitoring and consulting with your pediatrician will ensure your baby receives the appropriate care and treatment.
Next Steps
Immediate Medical Attention: If your baby shows signs of severe dehydration. If there is blood or mucus in the stool. If your baby is very irritable or lethargic. If there is a persistent high fever.
Health Tips
Consult Your Pediatrician: If the symptoms persist, itâs best to consult your pediatrician again. They can determine if another course of antibiotics is necessary or if thereâs another underlying cause.
